The Crepe Myrtle Series is a collaboration, wherein hand sculpted forms are created from aged Texas crepe myrtle; the colors suspending the wood in time, denying age and challenging identity.

Unnatural Series
Natural wood translated into abstract organic forms.

Two tall, forked sculptures evoke stylized trees or organic instruments. One is finished in deep black, the other in lustrous gold. Their elongated branches are punctured with holes and bound by delicate horizontal metal pins, creating a rhythmic dialogue of form, color, and texture.
